Homesick? Not at the moment...

We've been here more than a month and I was starting to get a bit homesick.

But then I saw the United States weather report. In my hometown it is -10 °F. That is -23 °C in European speak. And I won't even tell you the wind chill factor.

Today in Zürich it was warm and sunny. Didn't even need my coat.

Nope. Not so much feeling homesick. At least, not at the moment...

Don't worry! I'm sure I'll feel homesick again when it warms up in Minnesota and starts raining nonstop here...

I think that the people in Switzerland would be much happier if they'd just take a moment to enjoy the unseasonably warm temperatures we've been having this winter instead of just complaining about global warming all the time.
Of course, I no longer ski...
