It's Just Wrong

This evening GLH returned from a trip to the grocery store with a tube containing what he believed to be tartar sauce.

When he opened it he realized it was tuna.

Yes, Gentle Readers, you can purchase squeezable tuna in a metal tube (similar to toothpaste) here in Switzerland.

Now that is just wrong.

The squeezable tuna was immediately relegated to the garbage bin.

And people say Americans eat bad food...

I've had it, and I have to say that it's not bad. I think I had it on some crackers.

"They" also sell "Parfait" here which is pretty much just regular liverwurst (beef or chicken) in a squeeze-tube.

Yummy!

B/c tuna in a tube is so much worse than cheese that squirts out of a can? At least the tube is compact and easily recyclable. ; )

I have NEVER purchased "cheese in a can." Nor will I ever do so.

The fact that the US also has disgusting forms of food does not excuse the squeezable tuna!

What is so bad about squeezable tuna?? It's still tuna isn't it, I mean does it REALLY matter how you get your tuna?????

lol - I think this is too funny. although I think I'd opt for the tartar sauce, I might try it.

Too bad we can't find many tubes in Vancouver, I miss it!
