Yesterday's ice storm segued into a snowstorm that is expected to deliver 10-14 inches (25 - 35 centimeters) to the Kansas City area.
The neighbor-hood kids are thrilled to have today off. And likely will not go to school tomorrow either...
Meanwhile, I am cozy in front of the fireplace watching tv and eating popcorn. (GLH will join me as soon as he is done working in his home office.)
And since we've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Thankfully it should all be cleared out by the time we fly Saturday morning. The snow is headed towards Chicago and we are flying through New York. Woo hoo!

So many great photos for christmas already. I know we aren't thinking about that yet, our anniversary is in 10 days too, but then I guess we had better hurry up with it all! I'm still getting wet from walking in the mess...
