My new Swiss driver's license just arrived.
Whew! I am legal to drive again.
Didn't receive the US driver's license yet, but GLH's was sent in a separate envelope. Perhaps it will come tomorrow...

That was quick. I suppose, once they make a decision, they can be pretty efficient.

It's the dickering around to make a decision that takes so long. Once the Swiss are satisfied that all rules (real and imagined) have been followed, they get down to business.
By the way, Samantha, you should hear how the Swiss talk about the French! (And the Germans and the Italians for that matter...)
Does this mean that I don't have to call in favors from special friends at the State level to concock a letter that you indeed passed the test and have been driving for 19 years or so, I forget.
