Mystery Trip

We are going to spend a couple of hours on US soil this weekend.

Anyone guess where we are going?

    My guess is a very prosaic air base in Germany.

    Yep, we are visiting someone who lives near one of the bases and has base privileges.

    We will finally get to shop at one of the legendary (almost mythical) US grocery stores US expats speak of in reverent tones.

    We will also pay in US dollars. But no problem, because they have US ATM's on all the bases.
